Dr. Bret Fisher speaks at the Scientific Symposium

Local ophthalmologist Dr. Bret Fisher of the Eye Center of North Florida in Panama City recently attended the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Chicago, Illinois. At the meeting, which was held from April 4 through April 8th, Dr. Fisher was among a select group of physicians who were asked to speak at the Scientific Symposium. At the Symposium, Dr. Fisher presented results of his experience with the use of advanced lens implants at cataract surgery to an audience of eye surgeons from throughout the United States as well as Europe, Latin America, and Asia. At the meeting, Dr. Fisher was also invited to speak on the use of advanced equipment for measuring and examining the eye prior to different forms of eye surgery. Dr. Fisher serves as the Medical Director of the Eye Center of North Florida, and has been in practice in Panama City for 14 years. He is a graduate of Duke University and Duke University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology training at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
