John J. Mallary, M.D.

John J. Mallary, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in 1962 and completed medical school at Marquette University School of Medicine in Wisconsin in 1966. Dr. Mallary completed his internship and residency in 1970 at Gorgas Hospital in Panama Canal Zone.  He has been serving our community since he began practicing at  Gulf Coast Eye Clinic in 1976. He specializes in general practice ophthalmology, laser surgery for secondary cataracts, medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases, and contact lens fittings. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and belongs to the following professional societies: American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, and Bay County Medical Society.
