Eye Center of North Florida Hosts Visiting Physician from UVA School of Medicine

The Eye Center of North Florida is proud to host a visiting physician today in our surgery center. Sandra Johnson, MD, Associate Professor of Glaucoma and Residency Program Director for the University of Virginia School of Medicine is here today observing and learning about the Lensx Custom Laser Cataract Surgery performed by our physicians, Dr. Bret Fisher and Dr. Paul Garland. The Lensx technology is state of the art, blade free and customized to each person’s eye care needs. The Eye Center of North Florida is the only place to find this technology in the area– our surgeons were the FIRST in Florida to perform this revolutionary procedure and were 16th in the nation.
